The Queen of pop, Taylor Swift, has landed in hot water with her most loyal fans after seemingly reversing her stance on generative AI for a new album promotion. Her team released a lyric video for a scavenger hunt that was quickly slammed by Swifties for its "lazy" quality and tell-tale signs like disappearing limbs and bad shadows.

Die-hard fans called the move "utterly hypocritical," pointing out that the billionaire artist, who previously spoke out against AI after being deepfaked, could easily afford to hire human CGI artists instead. The intense fan disappointment over the use of "lazy" technology appears to have worked, as the controversial AI clips have since been quietly removed from her official YouTube channel.
